                                                                                                            August 16, 2017

Dear Parents,

I am pleased to have your child in my class this year. In order to guarantee your child and all the students in my classroom the best environment they deserve, it will be necessary to implement a classroom discipline plan.

Therefore, in my classroom, I am utilizing the following discipline plan that all students are expected to follow.

1.      Work as a Team.

2.      Be Responsible

3.      Listen to Others

4.      Be Respectful.

5.      Be Kind and Helpful

6.      Do your Best.

If a student chooses to break a rule the following consequences will take place:

1st consequence = Name on the board - warning

2nd consequence = One check (X) - isolation in the classroom

3rd consequence = Two checks (XX) - miss recess

4th consequence = Three checks (XXX) - phone call to parent and/or see the    principal. The principal will follow district-approved intervention.

Students who have followed classroom expectations will be positively awarded with:

                                    Verbal praise                           Tech Time

                                    Written praise                          Phone call home

                                    Individual incentives              Classroom incentives

I have discussed this plan with your child, but would greatly appreciate it if you would review the discipline plan with him or her before signing and returning the form below.

            Thank you for your support.

                                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                                Ms. Francia

PLEASE HELP OTHER PARENTS TO SUBSCRIBE!

 Hello Parents,
Thank you to you who have subscribed to my homework and personal page. However, we only have 12 parents out of 35 students who have subscribe.

If you know the parents of other students in your child's class, would you please encourage them to subscribe, if they haven't yet done so?

I would like all students' parents to be informed and up-to-date on homework and school online resources that are available for their children to be successful students. If you know a parent who missed our Back to School Night, they really need to get connect with their child's teacher. Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,
Ms. Francia
