Discipline Policy/ Poliza de Disciplina

Dear Parents,

As your child’s new teacher, I am looking forward to an exciting school year full of learning. However, in order for learning to take place; a classroom must have a fair and consistent discipline plan. The following will be the plan we will be implementing in our classroom:

CLASSROOM RULES

1. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
2. Take turns: talking, sharing and playing.
3. Raise your hand before speaking.
4. Move safely around the room.
5. Use your time wisely and follow directions.
6. Turn in homework on time.

REWARDS

Name under the happy face, praise, stickers, certificates and opportunities to choose an item from the treasure chest

CONSEQUENCES

1. Name on the board  = Warning
2. Name + P        = Loss of recess (5 minutes)
3. Name + PP        = Loss of recess (10 minutes)
4. Name + PPP     = Loss of 10 + note to parent
5. Severe problem  = A visit to the principal’s office

Estimados Padres:

Espero que este ano esté lleno de éxito y alegría para su niño(a). Pero, para ser un salón donde los niños puedan aprender se necesita un plan de disciplina justo y consistente. Lo siguiente será el plan disciplinario que seguirá nuestro salón.

Reglas del Salon

1. Mantener las manos, pies, y objetos con si mismo.
2. Tomar su turno para hablar, compartir y jugar.
3. Levantar la mano antes de hablar.
4. Moverse con cuidado alrededor del salón.
5. Usar su tiempo debidamente y seguir las instrucciones.
6. Entregar la tarea a tiempo.

PREMIOS DE BUENA CONDUCTA

Nombre escrito debajo la carita feliz, elogios, calcomanías, certificados, juguetitos del Baúl de los Tesoros.

CONSEQUENCIAS

1. Nombre  escrito debajo la carita triste/Aviso
2. Nombre + P         = Perdida de recreo (5 minutos)
3. Nombre + PP      = Perdida de recreo (10 minutes)
4. Nombre + PPP    = Perdida de 10 minutos + nota a los padres.
5. Problema  Severo = Ir al la oficina del director.
